SMS Messaging Consent
How we use text messages to keep you informed about your studio activity.
What Messages Will I Receive?
QuickStudio sends you a short text when something in your QuickStudio account needs your attention. A notice tells you the category and links to the item:
- your studio sent you a message
- a lesson was updated
- your studio replied to your request
- an invoice was issued
- a payment update was posted
Notices never contain text written by your studio, and never contain marketing. To read the message, lesson or invoice itself, you follow the link into your account.
Texts come from QuickStudio, which operates the number, about your QuickStudio account.
Who Receives Them
Only adults receive texts: parents, guardians and adult students. Students under 18 are never sent texts, whatever consent is recorded. You receive texts only if you verified that number yourself with a one-time code and ticked the consent box, which is never pre-ticked.
How Is Consent Collected?
Consent to receive SMS messages is collected via an affirmative opt-in checkbox on two public-facing forms: the studio signup form (for studio operators) and the account activation flow (for invited guardians, students, and payers, after phone number verification via OTP).
Consent is not required as a condition of enrollment. You may decline SMS notifications and still use all other features of the platform.
See our SMS Opt-In Flow page for screenshots of the consent UI and a full description of how consent is captured.
Message Frequency
Frequency varies with your studio's activity — typically 10 to 20 messages a month, more if you have several students enrolled. We never send more than 5 texts to a number in one day, or more than one in any 15 minutes. The opt-out line appears on the first text we send to a number, and at least once a month after that.
Rates and Charges
Message and data rates may apply. Please consult your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.
How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message you receive from your studio
- Contacting your studio directly to update your notification preferences
- Emailing us at support@quickstudio.me
After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.
Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts; START turns them back on. Reply HELP for a description of the program and how to reach us. Stopping texts does not affect your account — you keep receiving the same notices by email and in the app.
